To Beaufort from Columbia or Charleston Area:

1. Travel on I-26 to I-95 South toward Savannah, Georgia
2. Travel on I-95 S to Exit 33 at Point South
3. Take Highway 17 towards Beaufort
4. At Gardens Corner intersection of highway 17 and 21, bear right on highway 21 toward Beaufort
5. Follow highway 21 (Becomes Boundary street as you enter Beaufort proper and then at sharp right curve, becomes Carteret Street) into downtown Beaufort (Bay Street)
6. Travel time from Columbia, approximately 2.5 hours. From Charleston, Approximately 1.5 hours.

From Atlanta

1. Travel South on I-75 from Atlanta to Macon
2. In Macon follow signs for I-16 East to Savannah
3. Exit 157B on I-16 to I-95 traveling north toward Florence, SC
4. Travel 21 miles on I-95 entering into South Carolina
5. Take Exit 8, Highway 278 towards Hilton Head - Beaufort. Go 5 miles on 278.
6. Turn left at sign immediately after auto malls at the intersection with Wal-Mart. Follow road to end at stop sign at Highway 170. This is Cherry Point.
7. Turn left onto Highway 170 and travel into Beaufort on 170 until intersection with US 21.
8. Turn right on 21 and follow signs to historic downtown Beaufort.
9. Travel time from Atlanta, approximately 5 hours.

From Savannah Airport

1. Exit airport and travel 2 miles to the entrance to I-95 N toward Florence
2. Take Exit 8, Highway 278 towards Hilton Head - Beaufort. Go 5 miles on 278.
3. Turn left at sign immediately after auto malls at the intersection with Wal-Mart. Follow road to end at stop sign at Highway 170. This is Cherry Point.
4. Turn left onto Highway 170 and travel into Beaufort on 170 until intersection with US 21.
5. Turn right on 21 and follow signs to historic downtown Beaufort.
